Gooseberry Nature School serves a mixed-age preschool/kinder classroom, ages 2.5-6 years old,

in our little cottage classroom and play yard in Covington, KY.

Annual Enrollment Options:

Flexible enrollment available Tuesday through Friday, with part-time or full-time options on consistent days each week!

Tuition Rates*:

PART-TIME (8:30-12:30)

2-day = $320/mo.

3-day = $480/mo.

4-day = $640/mo.

FULL-TIME (8:30-3:30)

2-day = $480/mo.

3-day = $720/mo.

4-day = $960/mo.

A $50 non-refundable application fee is due with application.

*10% discount is offered for a school year (9 month period) paid in full.

No sibling discount is offered due to limited space (6 children/day), but additional deposits are waived for sibling applications.

Hours of Operation:

8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Tuesday - Friday

Daily Rhythm:

Children will spend ample time outdoors in our play yard and adjacent wooded acres. They will gain hands-on experiences tending to our pet chickens and garden, with plenty of time for digging, climbing, building, and discovering through all of the seasons. Indoors, in our sunlit schoolroom, children will enjoy artistic experiences like painting, cooking, and puppetry. We will have daily stories, songs, and imaginative social play as well as a restorative resting time.

Food, Field Trips, & Festivals:

Wholesome organic snacks will be provided each day, sourcing from Rose Hill Biodynamic Farm in Northside when seasonally available.

Local field trips to places like Pioneer Park in Covington for creek exploration included!

Throughout the year, Gooseberry will partner with Dandelion House Nursery in Northside, Ohio, for opportunities to share in festivals and holiday celebrations, connecting our communities.
