About Us
Gooseberry Nature School is nestled on a ridge in the Peaselburg neighborhood of Covington, KY, named for the geese that once populated the area. Our urban cottage classroom and garden play yard provide a unique early childhood experience for a small, intimate group of children ages 2.5 - 6. Our approach nurtures the whole child by integrating the beauty and gentle pace of Waldorf education with the health benefits of nature-based learning. Our students engage in hands-on exploration, outdoor activities, and artistic experiences. With a strong emphasis on community and social development, we create a warm, inclusive environment where children feel valued and supported. Our partnership with Dandelion House Nursery in Northside, Ohio, provides additional opportunities for shared festivals and holiday celebrations, enriching our community connections. Join us at Gooseberry Preschool, where city roots and nature wings come together to foster a lifelong love of learning in nature.
